Private Equity Analyst - Investment Team

You will play a key role in evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting research, helping develop investment recommendations, negotiate terms and execute transactions. Furthermore, you will monitor portfolio companies, assisting it with the development and implementation of investment strategies.

I) Analyze Investment Opportunities by

• Helping in the research, analysis and evaluation of attractive investment opportunities
• Identifying financial and business variables to build analysis based on assumptions that were gathered from internal and external sources, and demonstrate them through rational steps
• Supporting the development of complex dynamic financial models to analyze investment prospects (including testing assumptions and sensitivities)
• Supporting due diligence process, interacting with internal teams and external advisors (as appropriate) including reviews of past and projected financial performance, investment merits and risks, expected returns, regulatory environment, industry dynamics and other relevant factors
• Supporting the negotiation and execution of agreements and other transaction-related legal documentation

II) Follow-through on Investments by

• Monitoring ongoing financial performance of portfolio companies
• Reporting and reviewing quarterly company performance
• Interacting with the company´s boards, management teams and other advisors, as appropriate to support corporate strategy and its value creation plan
• Helping evaluate possible exit strategies

• Bachelor’s degree, with above-average academic performance
• More than 1 year of experience of private equity; top-tier management consulting or investment banking experience; or comparable work experience
• Solid corporate finance and accounting knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
• Valuation and modeling skills required
• Communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
