FP&A (Secondment)

Mission

Provide PortCo’s executives and Aqua Capital the necessary support through financial reporting, analysis of main figures and quantitative analysis to achieve top-notch decision-making in the process of creating a leading high-value inputs platform.

The FP&A is responsible for the reports (presentations and financial models) and analysis of the company’s main figures, as well as the structuring / updating of the key indicators (KPIs). Additionally, This position will be the link between Aqua Capital and the invested company. The position will be available in multiple locations across Brazil.

Expected Results

1.      Develop and lead the company’s annual financial budget process in close alignment with the CFO and business leaders

2.      Create, enhance, and maintain monthly reports of budgeted versus realized expenditures, including variance analysis, business impact assessment, and executive-level insights

3.      Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial presentations to executive committees and cross-functional forums (e.g., Investment, Strategy, Commercial), in coordination with the CFO

4.      Conduct financial assessments and in-depth analysis of opportunities and potential projects, evaluating risks, returns, and implications for the company’s financial results

5.      Develop financial models and detailed cash flow analyses to support strategic initiatives, investments, and capital allocation decisions

6.      Monitor, manage, and report key KPIs, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and relevance for senior management and the CFO

7.      Ensure strong cost control and accuracy in managing project expenditures within the approved budgetary framework

8.      Support and enable C-level decision-making across strategic projects, delivering high-quality financial insights, scenario analysis, and clear recommendations

9.      Partner with the Commercial Team to support business cases, providing quantitative analysis, forecasts, and prioritization insights to achieve targeted results

10.  Prepare, structure, and present high-impact financial materials for the Board of Directors, tailored to different areas and strategic topics, ensuring clarity, consistency, and decision-oriented communication

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related fields; +3 years of experience; previous experience with private equity funds is a plus
• Cash management, financial accounting, and corporate finance competence
