To accelerate value creation across Aqua and portfolio companies by identifying high-impact business opportunities and designing, deploying, and scaling AI-powered and technology-enabled solutions that drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, margin expansion, and EBITDA improvement. This role combines strategic judgment with hands-on execution, ensuring that initiatives move from insight to implementation and measurable results. Success is defined not by experimentation alone, but by tangible financial impact, sustained adoption within portfolio companies, and the creation of repeatable frameworks that institutionalize AI-driven value creation across the investment ecosystem.

AI & Value Creation Roadmaps: Identify where AI and technology can create the greatest business impact in portfolio companies and Aqua and establish clear, prioritized plans to turn those opportunities into measurable financial results

Portfolio AI Playbook & Replicable Frameworks: Develop and institutionalize a standardized AI value creation playbook including diagnostic tools, prioritization frameworks, implementation templates, and case studies to enable scalable and repeatable impact.

MVP Development & Rapid Validation: Lead fast hypothesis testing through structured discovery and rapid MVP development using modern tools and AI platforms, ensuring early validation of business impact before committing significant capital or resources.

Deployed Production-Ready Solutions: Translate validated MVPs into scalable, production-grade AI and automation solutions, ensuring full implementation, documentation, stakeholder alignment, and measurable performance tracking across portfolio companies and Aqua.

Measurable Financial & Operational Impact: Deliver quantifiable business outcomes such as process efficiency gains, cost reductions, revenue uplift, or EBITDA expansion, with clear impact attribution, tracking mechanisms, and executive-level reporting.

Capability Building & Adoption Enablement: Drive AI literacy and operational adoption through workshops, training, governance models, and hands-on collaboration, ensuring sustained usage and reduced dependency on external support over time.

AI Value Mapping & Opportunity Prioritization: Ability to systematically identify, size, and prioritize high-ROI AI and technology opportunities across business functions, linking each initiative to clear financial outcomes such as revenue growth, cost reduction, or EBITDA expansion.

Product Discovery & MVP Execution:Capability to lead structured problem discovery, define measurable hypotheses, and rapidly develop MVPs that validate business value before scaling, ensuring disciplined experimentation with clear success metrics.

Data Modeling & Analytical Execution: Ability to structure, clean, model, and analyze complex datasets to generate reliable insights and enable scalable AI and automation initiatives.

Automation & Systems Integration: Hands-on proficiency in designing and implementing automation workflows, APIs, system integrations, and intelligent processes that reduce manual effort and improve operational KPIs.

Data-Driven Decision Enablement: Ability to design and implement data-driven frameworks that improve strategic and operational decision-making, translating raw data into actionable insights that directly influence pricing, commercial strategy, forecasting, cost management, and capital allocation, with clear linkage to financial performance and EBITDA impact.

• 5–8 years of experience in AI, data science, or analytics roles with a proven track record of driving measurable business impact, not only building models.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, structure, and execute AI initiatives that improve EBITDA, operational efficiency, or top-line growth within mid-market or enterprise environments.
• Proven experience in product environments, having led both discovery and delivery cycles and built solutions that generated measurable business impact.
• Proven ability to translate investment theses into AI-enabled business cases and deliver them end-to-end, from opportunity mapping to measurable results.
• Solid background in data engineering, automation, or applied machine learning, with emphasis on business applications rather than academic modeling.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, managing multiple portfolio companies simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of framing complex AI concepts in clear business and financial terms.

Desirable

• Previous experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Value Creation team, ideally in a hands-on execution or operating partner capacity.
